Information about Charcoal Technique

Black pencil: It can be produced from burned charcoal willow or vine branches. It is a versatile drawing material, but may be dirty. The pencil is compressed and wood-framed. The advantage of this is to prevent your hands from getting dirty. At the same time, the pencil will not break easily when the pressure is applied, unlike the charcoal bar. Dark pencils allow a range of tonal richness, from strong, dark or very fine lines of dark black to grays.
