Sumi-e painting art self-discipline

Patience is indispensable for the brush picture. Balance, Rhythm and Harmony are the qualities that the artist tries to achieve by developing his Patience, Discipline and Concentration. The brush artist constantly aims to be a better person because his character and personality are reflected in his work. Sumi-e is a style of painting which is characteristic of Asia and has been well practiced for a thousand years. Literally ink dye is an art form that strives to distill the essence of an object or scene in those less likely strokes. With a few elaborate abrupt stops suddenly placed several strokes, a few thin lines and a spot, and a bird is clearly called into being on the paper.
